Two Fallschirmjäger photo albums of a paratrooper serving with 2./Fallschimjäger-Regiment 1. Crete combatant!
Photo album Fallschirm-Jäger-Rgt. 1 Stendal
It documents the Western Front as well as the campaign on Crete. Photos taken at Saloniki and Chalkis in June 1941. Nice shots of a Fallschirmjäger parade, tropical and winter clothing, aircrafts, destroyed buildings and vehicles. The last photos in the album maybe taken in Russia. Blue cover with Luftwaffe eagle and lettering "Fallschirm-Jäger-Rgt. 1 Stendal" to the front. The album consists of roughly 132 photographs.

The album starts in November 1939 in Hildesheim. It documents mainly the military training.Nice to see parachute jumps and clothing of the Fallschirmjäger. One photo of a Knight's Cross winner. Cover with an attached Luftwaffe eagle and lettering "Erinnerung an meine Dienstzeit als Fallschirm Jäger" to the front. The album consists of roughly 123 photographs.
