VIEW DESCRIPTION

Luftwaffe Honor Goblet from Alpacca awarded to Oberleutnant Otto Ertel. Ertel served with JG 77 (Ace of spades) in the battle of Norway and later in France. Ertel later served in JG 300 as a nightfighter under Hermann Hajo. He flew BF109 and FW190 and had 12 victories.

Engraved lettering: LEUTNANT OTTO ERTEL AM 1.9.1942.

"Feinsilber Alpacca Auflage" stamped as well as JOH.WAGNER & SOHN maker marked.

Sigs of age and patina. The silver finish is nearly gone.

Minor dents to the top.

Height: 20,5 cm. Weight: 381,5 gr.
