Flight book and additional documents to the HS 219 pilot Oberfeldwebel Josef Birnbaum serving with 10.(Pz.)/Schlachtgeschwader 9. He was not only awarded the Spanish Cross in bronze, but the silver Squadron Clasp for Jäger and the Iron Cross 1st Class. Birnbaum had 61 enemy missions in the East destroying several T34!
