Description
Grouping to night fighter pilot and Africa veteran Oberfeldwebel Alfred Siewert serving with IV. and II. of Nachtjagdgeschwader 6.
Siewert was credited with two aerial victories. One with NJG 2 in 1942 and one with NJG 6 in 1944. Other sources speak of 4 victories.
 
Siewert was wounded on 2/3 February 1945 at Düren, near Waibstadt inside his Ju88. After shooting down a Mosquito his Ju88 was shot down. His crew was forced to bail out. One crew member died. 
 
Soldbuch issued on 20.9.1944. Please note that a piece of the first page was cut. Original attached photo. A red "Nachtsehen" stamp confirming his good eyes.
Late May and June 1945 notes and entries. Discharged on 29.6.1945. Awarded the Wound Badge in gold for being injured 5 times.

Wound Badge in black, German-Italian Campaign Medal. Afrika Cuffband, Pilot's Badge, Luftwaffe 4 years Long Service Award, Iron Cross 2nd and 1st Class, Squadron Clasp for Nachtjäger in silver, Sudetenland Medal. Rumanian Bravery Cross, Squadron Clasp for Nachtjäger in gold, Wound Badge in gold.
The list was signed by Hauptmann Rosenberg.
 
Luftwaffe blue pilot's license booklet with original attached photograph. Many interesting notes and signature.
Quite a few pages loose.
 
Certificate to the Squadron Clasp for Nachtjäger in gold signed by Major Herbert Lütje on 3.1.1945. As a fighter ace, he was credited with 50 aerial victories claimed in 247 combat missions.
Issued to Siewert serving with 12./Nachtjagdgeschwader 6. Very nice condition.
 
Certificate to the Wound Badge in gold for 5 injuries issued on 29.6.1945 at military hospital Oberstdorf. Serving with 2./NJG 6. Wounded on 2.2.1945.
 
Certificate to the Wound Badge in silver for 3 injuries issued on 13.2.1945 at military hospital Oberstdorf. Serving with 4./NJG 6. Wounded on 2.2.1945. Signed by Major Herbert Lütje.
 
Certificate to the Afrika Ärmelband issued in 1943. Typical full color certificate stamped "Der Oberbefehlshauber Süd".
