Description

Nice uniform grouping to Stabsveterinär Dr. Schaffler consisting of his personal visor cap, one document found inside the tunic and his personal field tunic. Schaffler served on the Eastern Front.

Fine veterinarian's officer's visor cap with "Karmesin" red piping. "Filler, Wien" maker marked to the intact celluloid diamond. Fine silk lining. Old paper placed underneath the sweat-band. A common way to adjust the size for the owner. The seam of the sweatband has partially opened and was re-attached.

Fine hand-embroidered officer's insignia attached by hand. Some moth damage.

Condition 2- 

Size 55/56.

Rare 4 pocket field tunic with originally attached veterinarian insignia for a Stabveterinär. All insignia were attached by hand. Typical "Karmesin" red piping. Gilt cyphers and rank pips. Fine filk lining. No name or tailor's tag.

Some moth damage. Condition 2-. Medium size.

"Sonderausweis" to travel to Charkow, Stalino, Gorlowka, Makejwka issued on 15.11.1942.
