Karl Freiherr von Thüngen was a German General and Knight's Cross recipient. He was involved in Stauffenberg's 20th July plot as "Berlin Inspekteur des Wehrersatzwesens". Thüngen was executed on 24.10.1944 after being sentenced to death by Roland Freisler.
War Merit Cross 2nd Class issued on 30.1.1943 to Obergefreiter Schäfer.
