Excellent Heer personal visor cap to Generalleutnant Max Dennerlein (1885 - 1957). Dennerlein had took command of several Infantry divisions before he served as "Inspekteur der Festungen" from 5.1.1945.
Fine, high quality "Frischluft" example made by Erel. Characteristic "Frischluft" cockade with ventilation holes to the red coloured centre.
Matching cap eagle and wreath badge (aluminium) from excellent condition. Gold colour bullion piping with the same nice patina as the chin strap. Chin strap buttons are sewn to the cap correctly.
Fine "Erel Stirnschutz" mark to the sweat-band. "Dennerlein" named. Excellent gold colour silk lining with OFFIZIER KLEIDERKASSE BERLIN "Erel Sonderklasse Extra" markings to the celluloid diamond which comes with one small crack.
Lovely cap in excellent "saddle" shape. Condition 2+
Only one small "moth damaged" area to the top of the cap.
