Description

Heer field tunic to an unknown highly decorated Infanterie Oberst. He would have been serving as a regimental commander in WWII. This Oberst was awarded the Heer Honor Roll Clasp. You can see 4 holes to the Iron Cross ribbon. The Ehrenblattspange was taken off.

The tunic comes with period time attached insignia all over. You can see traces of another pair of collar tabs attached to the collar once, however, the actual machine-attached collar tabs are just perfectly matching and were certainly worn with this tunic period time.

Hand-attached officer's breast eagle. White colored infantry Oberst shoulder boards. All buttons complete and period time attached.

Silk lining with an "Georg Andres" tailor's tag attached. Loops for an Iron Cross 1st Class which was worn with a screw-back, loops for a long field ribbon bar, two pair of loops for two more awards.

Metal clippers/buttons underneath the collar for either a collar neck protection or a Knight's Cross!

Condition 3. Medium size. Moth damage.
