VIEW DESCRIPTION

A very late sidecap for a female Kriegsmarine Helferin. The black fine linen lining is Reichsbetriebsnummer stamped. "57" size marked and clearly "1945" dated.

The sidecap comes in nearly unworn condition. Typical blue construction with yellow piping.

Machine-woven cap insignia attached by hand quite "sloppy". Anything is possible in 1945 so we can't say if original attached or not.
