Waffen-SS officer's field tunic - stripped
Description
Untouched Waffen-SS officer's tunic with entirely removed insignia. The cut of this tunic is typical of Austrian original so this was certainly worn by an Austrian Waffen-SS officer.
Clear shadow and traces of removed SS collar tabs. Original black threads left of the perviously attached sleeve eagle. Cords for slip-on shoulder boards as well as shoulder board buttons.
No signs of a previously attached breast eagle! This tunic was definitely worn by an SS officer.
All buttons complete! Fine grey silk lining. No name tag.
Some moth damage. Condition 2-
