10.Inft.Rgt. Ingolstadt reservist's mug - glass dome
Description
Bavarian reservist's mug to Ludwig Meindel serving with Königlich Bayerisches 10. Infanterie-Regiment „Prinz Ludwig“, 6. Kompanie from 1908 until 1910 in Ingolstadt.
Finely painted porcelain mug with colored pictures. Original pewter lid with a glass dome. The inlay of the dome consists of a guard in front of a guardhouse as well as a riding soldier. The top (crown) of the lid can be unscrewed. Very hard to find! "DRGM" and "J.M." (Jakob Maier) marked inside. Including the names list of all members of the unit.
"J. Maier, München" marked. The lithophane bottom with a portrait of König Ludwig II. of Bavaria. Well visible when the mug is held against the light.
0.5-litre mug. No chipping. No damage.
