Important late war document grouping to Leutnant Heinrich Karbacher who survived 25 days of close combat. At least 15 of them took place in Breslau in March 1945. Breslau was transformed into a "Festung" from 23. January until 6. May 1945.

Part of the grouping is an extremely rare list of his close combat days 10 up to 25. All of them took place in Breslau in March 1945. The list shows the signature of his company leader Leutnant Bensch.

Furthermore, the lot includes a form signed by Leutnant Bensch confirming that Feldwebel Karbacher destroyed a Russian T34 with his "Panzerfaust" at the "Strehlenener Straße" in Breslau on 16.3.1945. He served with "Divisions-Stosstrupp Kompanie 609" at this time.  If Bensch was awarded the Tank Destruction Badge for that act, we can't say. 

Another document issued by the "Festungs-Adjutant" (Breslau) dated 5.4.1945 (Festungs-Geschechtsstand) sents regards of the commander of "Festung Breslau" congratulating Karbacher for his Leutnant promotion. It is signed by a Major who served as adjutant of the commander.

Certificate to the Close Combat Clasp in bronze issued on 23.12.1944 to Unteroffizier Karlbacher serving with Stabskompanie of Gren.Rgt.505. Signed by the commander of the regiment.

Certificate to the Infantry Assault Badge in silver issued on 13.19.1944 to Unteroffizier Karlbacher serving with Stabskompanie of Gren.Rgt.505. Signed by the commander of the regiment.

Certificate to the Iron Cross 2nd Class issued on 2.3.1942 and signed by Generalleutnant and commander of 291. Infanterie-Division Herzog.

Certificate to the Iron Cross 1st Class issued on 17.8.1944 and signed by Oberst and commander of 291. Infanterie-Division Arthur Ringer.

Certificate to the Wound Badge in black. Issued on 5.9.1943 to Karlbacher serving with Grenadier-Regiment 505. Original signature of the commander of Gren.Rgt.505 Oberst Hillenberg.

Certificate to the Wound Badge in gold. Issued on 17.9.1944 to Karlbacher serving with Grenadier-Regiment 505. Original signature of the commander of Gren.Rgt.505, a unknown Major. Karlbacher was inured 5 times.

Certificate to the East Medald signed by the deputy commander of Grenadier-Regiment 505. Issued on 8.8.1942.

Certificate to the War Merit Cross 2nd Class with swords issued on 16.2.1942 and signed by Generalleutnant and commander of 291. Infanterie-Division Herzog.

There are two original photos showing Karbacher. On one photo, he stands next to a German Cross winner. 
Finally, there is his SA achievement booklet along with the certiifcate for the SA Sport's Badge in bronze.
