Description

Rare Heer 4-pocket for a civil servant (Heeresbeamter) in the General's rank of a Korpsintendant. The tunic comes with a name tag attached. Unfortunately, the name is hard to read. It could be "Colnen". The "Walther Stollmann" tailor's tag is 5.8.39 dated.

Fine quality privately tailored tunic with green civil servant's piping around the collar, sleeves and the button line. Red "Waffenfarbe". Fine sewn-in General's shoulder boards with correct silvered "HV" (Heeresverwaltung) cyphers. Machine-attached collar tabs. Fine hand-stiched tabs with red piping. Stitching holes of previously attached collar tabs visible of his pre-General carrier.

Gold finished buttons. Not entirely original attached and from various makers. Original general's breast eagle, however, sloppy postwar attached.

Fine silk lining. Medium size.
Good condition 2. Only a hand-full of small moth holes.
