Description

Early Heer visor cap "Feldmütze alter Art" known as a so-called "crusher cap". Issued to Infanterie officers. Untouched cap with period time applied insignia. Typical machine-woven officer's insignia which were only used for this type of cap. The eagle is attached by hand, the wreath badge is attached by machine.

Signs of wear to the sweat-band and silk lining. The lining is maker marked however the marking is very hard to read. Soft leather visor.
White piping. Fielgrey cloth. One crack to the inner stabilization band.

No moth damage.

A worn cap with character in condition 2.
