Description

Early Heer parade tunic for a Feldwebel serving with a Maschinengewehr-Batallion. The exact unit is unknown. The tunic comes with rare white piped shoulder boards featuring a hand-stitched letter "m". You can clearly see that the small piece of tress toward the end was added later when promoted a Feldwebel. A nice detail which proofs this tunic was worn for quite a bit of time.

Machine-woven officer's breast eagle period time attached by hand. This type of high quality eagle was often worn by NCOs. Machine-attached collar tabs and NCO tress.

Three pair of loops for three awards. Three loops for a long medal bar! (10cm). This Feldwebel was certainly highly decorated.

Typical fine silk lining. No tags or markings.

Minor moth damage to the reverse only.

Condition 2-
Medium size.
