Description

A nice Heer officer's parade sabre by E.Pack & Söhne.

Excellent etched blade to three sides with fine ornaments and military scenes. Including a picture of an army paratrooper. This type was in the Heer only issued until 1938. On 1.1.1939 the army paratrooper were transferred to the Luftwaffe. "E.Pack & Söhne" maker marked. 

GIlded brass hilt fittings with a lions head to the top. It comes with red glass eyes. Black celluloid grip with intact wire wrapping. No chipping. The shield of the crossguard contains the initials "KK" of the recipient. The front side displays the national eagle with swastika. Lovely patina.

Original black factory painted scabbard without dents.

Nice condition. A rare sabre!
