  We usually send out orders within 1-3 working days after your payment has been received. In most cases, we are faster than this! Delivery times will vary depending upon the delivery destination and type of shipping service you have chosen.

  If you prefer to have your order shipped to your work address or a friend during your absence, we will happy to arrange this for you. Send us an email letting us know about your new shipping address and we will be happy to send an updated invoice to you.

VIEW DESCRIPTION

An excellent pre-war damask sabre by Carl Eickhorn, Solingen. Issued in 1937 to Hauptmann Erich Scheyer as a shooting award. Hauptmann Scheyer served at this time with Infanterie-Regiment 14.

A very nice and rare damask blade, etched to three sides. So-called "Steckrückenklinge mit Schör" blade. It comes with finely gilded ornaments. Inscription "Ehrenpreis für hervorragende Schießleisstungen 1937 - Hptm. Erich Scheyer, I.R.14". "Eickhorn Solingen" maker marked. Blade-back also "CARL EICKHORN SOLINGEN" maker marked.

Gilded brass hilt fittings. Black celluloid grip with intact wire wrapping. No chipping.

Original black factory painted scabbard without dents.

Length: 98.5 cm.

Nice condition 2+. A very rare sabre!
