Description

Beautiful Luftwaffe 4-pocket tunic with straight trousers for a Leutnant serving with regiment "General Göring".

The tunic is a fine quality privately purchased example tailored by Oskar Fischer, Köln.

This officer was very well decorated. There are three pairs of loops for awards to his breast pocket as well as loops for a ribbon bar.

Hand-embroidered officer's breast eagle attached by hand. White color Leutnant shoulder boards attached by machine. Traces of previously attached tabs visible. Sewn-in Leutnant shoulder boards with white backing which was only issued to Hermann Göring troops.

Machine-attached NCO ranks "Hermann Göring" cuffband. Machine-embroidered.

A very nice tunic in beautiful condition. Fine silk lining. Medium size. No damage or moth holes.

This tunic must have been worn by an NCO rank who was promoted an officer later. That would explain the re-attached collar tabs and the NCO pattern cuffband.

Excellent straight Luftwaffe trousers with all buttons originally attached. Fine, silk lining.
Waist: 72cm. Length: 121cm.
