Early SA Service Dagger with etched dedication "In herzlicher Kameradschaft - Ernst Röhm". A very rare so-called "Röhm dagger". One of the few which has survived with an intact blade. The dedication had to be removed after 1934 when Röhm was killed during the so-called "Röhm Putsch".
"E.P.&S. Solingen" maker marked. Etched motto "Alles für Deutschland" and the rare dedication "In herzlicher Kameradschaft Ernst Röhm" to the back. A small piece to the top is missing.
Brown wooden handle with original enamel SA emblem and national eagle. No chipping. Crossguard "Sw" (Südwest) stamped. Original brown anodized scabbard with minor dents and light rust. All four screws of the scabbard look unopened.
