Prussia - M1886 reserve officer's spike helmet in box
Description
Prussia. Very fine M1886 reserve officer's spike helmet. The helmet comes with beautifully gilt insignia which do show a matching patina allover. There are minor signs of age and wear.
Both cockades, the Prussian "Landeskokarde" and the German "Reichskokarde" are in place. The leather corpus comes in excellent shape.
There are no extra holes. All insignia are originally attached. There is a size "56" marking written with pencil. Furthermore, there are "H H" initials written to the officer's lining which is from ripped silk.
A wonderful helmet in very nice condition 2+ which comes in its original storage box.
