Third Reich forestry hunting dagger - Clemen & Jung
Description
A nice Third Reich luxury hunting dagger so-called "Hirschfänger". Made by Clemen & Jung, Solingen.
An excellent etched blade with hunting scenes. "Clemen & Jung, Solingen" maker mark. Slight rust stains. The grip made from deerhorn with three attached acorns. A beautiful crossguard with a rabbit and a fox head at the ends. The front shows a kneeling hunter with a rifle.
Leather scabbard with brass metal fittings. Both are slightly loose as well as signs of use.
Overall matching patina.
Worn. Condition 2-3.
