Rare Luftwaffe M40 single decal camo helmet. The helmet was period time sprayed with two colors. A light green and a khaki color. You can still see the Luftwaffe decal with swastika. The original camo paint still covers about 80 of the shell. There is also some rust.
Size 55 stamped liner. Named to Major Bruckner Luftnachrichten-Ausbildungs-Rgt 5. He also wrote his address on the liner. You can also see rest of black paint to the reverse inside of the shell. It looks that he painted his name there, too but it is impossible to read. The chin straps is still in very good condition and soft. It is 1943 dated and maker marked.
The inside of the shell shows quite a bit of rust. The maker is impossible to read. The outside of the helmet looks a lot better.
