This tunic came out of a household clearance exactly like this. The tunic is R.L.B. GAU WIEN 1940 stamped on the cotton liner. It got a machine-woven Luftwaffe breast eagle which has been period attached by hand and an Iron Cross ribbon in the pocket hole. There is an NCO tress around the collar but no collar tabs. You do see period time picture of Luftwaffe soldiers without collar tabs.
This tunic could have been worn by a Luftwaffe soldier serving in Vienna, Austria, being somehow connected with the Luftschutz.
A good quality tunic made from fine dark blue fabric in great condition 2. No damage. No moth holes. Size M-L.
