Description

Nicely worn M40 Heer field tunic made in 1941. "A41" depot marked as well as size stamped to the blue linen lining. "Konersmann" maker marked. The collar was finished with dark green cloth period time to "copy" the design of an M36 for fashion reason. This Oberfeldwebel who has served as a "Spieß" also had worn very early dark green shoulder boards with this tunic. Both are matching and of the 1935 style. In addition, a dark green machine-woven officer's breast eagle was period time attached by hand. This facts make this tunic very personal and even more interesting!

Machine-attached "Spieß rings" to both sleeves. Hand-attached "HRVATSKA" volunteer's sleeve badge. Machine.-woven type.

Four pair of loops with clear signs of wear. Hand-attached War Merit Cross 2nd Class ribbon with great patina.
Machine-attached collar tabs. Period time! Old traces of EM tabs visible which were on the tunic before adding the NCO tress to the collar.

Untouched tunic in good condition 2. Great patina! No damage and of a rare maker!
