Description

A very early, 1934 dated, Kriegsmarine visor cap for a Küstenartillerie officer. It is maker marked and "1934" dated underneath the sweat-band. Furthermore, it is "K 27.11.34" dated by the depot.

Typical early orange color water-resistant lining. Size 57 marked.

About 10cm of the visor stitching has opened but the visor still sits firmly.
Classic "Tellermütze" issued by the Reichsmarine and still worn by the same officer when the Kriegsmarine was founded in 1935. Both hand-embroidered officer's insignia are 100% period time attached by hand. You can see that the swastika was hidden underneath the eagle after the war.

Only a hand full of small moth holes. Condition 2.

Size 57.
