VIEW DESCRIPTION

Photo album to SS-Gruppenführer and Generalleutnant der Waffen-SS Werner Ostendorff (1903-1945) serving with 17. SS-Panzergrenadier-Division "Götz von Berlichingen“ and 2. SS-Panzer-Division "Das Reich“. Knight's Cross on 13.09.1941 and German Cross in Gold 5.6.1942. The album was a gift to him on the occasion of the Julfest 1943.

The album contains excellent photos of high-ranking Heer and Waffen-SS soldiers. Erwin Rommel, Paul Hausser, Erich von Manstein and Werner Ostendorff. Furthermore a dedication to him on the first page.

Size photos: 17.5x12.5 cm and 17x20.5 cm.
