Early SA Service Dagger made by C.G. Haenel, Suhl. So-called "Röhm" dagger.
Etched blade with motto "Alles für Deutschland". The "Röhm" dedication was removed from the blade. "C.G. Haenel" maker marked. Röhm dedications had to be removed from all daggers after the Röhm Putsch in 1934.
A nice light brown wooden handle with original enamel SA emblem and national eagle (nickel). No chipping. Crossguard "Th" (Thüringen) stamped. Nickel fittings.
Original brown anodized scabbard. Small dents to the lower fitting and to the "ball". All four screws in place and unopened. Including the leather hanger, however, only 50 % still present.
