The dagger comes with a correct unmarked blade. As it should be when it comes to chained SS daggers. Etched motto "Meine Ehre heißt Treue". Black wooden grip with enamel SS emblem and national eagle (nickel). "E.N." stamped to the back of the grip (initials of the recipient). Slight chipping around the eagle. In our opinion, the eagle was not replaced. Nickel fittings. Original officer's portepee.
Black factory anodized scabbard with nickel-plated fittings. One dent to the lower fitting as well as two to the "ball". All six screws in place. Original steel chain showing SS runes and skulls. "SS" stamped to the back. The snap-clip "Germanic knot" is fully working. Including a leather belt loop.
