Description
Late war field blouse for an Oberleutnant serving with the famous 44.Infanterie-Division which was destroyed in Stalingrad in January 1943.  It was reconstituted in February 1943. This post-Stalingrad division was allowed to wear the so-called "Stalingrad cross" on their shoulder boards.
 
Fine privately tailored late war field blouse. Four pocket. Machine-attached collar tabs, breast eagle attached by hand. Several award loops medal and awards to the breast pocket. Two pair are definitely for a Close Combat Clasp and for a ribbon bar!
 
100% original attached insignia. Scarces Stalingrad Cross shoulder board cyphers with all of the 4 prongs each. Original blue color. To find a matching pair in this condition is extremely rare if not nearly impossible!
 
Size M. No moth damage. Slightly worn. Condition 1-2.
