Description
This visor cap was consigned as the personal visor cap of Knight´s Cross recipient Hans Fielder. Fiedler was awarded the Knight´s Cross on 26.12.1944 as commander of Aufklärungs-Abteilung 118. He died in Munich on 16.5.1957. His initials HF are marked to the sweat-band.

Fine quality officers Kavallerie visor cap with a period time applied zinc "Braunschweig" skull which means Fiedler would have served with Kav.Rgt.13 once. The cap was exactly tailored like this. The tailor left enough room between the cap eagle and the wreath to allow the skull to fit in. Textbook "goldgelb" piping. Hand-embroidered high quality cap eagle and wreath badge. Silk lining. No stamps or markings. Size 56.
