Description
Interesting document grouping to Obergefreiter Rudolf Singer serving with Flak-Rgt.43 in Afrika. Flak-Rgt.43 was destroyed in Afrika in May 1943. Singer survived and was sent to Flak-Regiment "Hermann Göring" and Fallschirmjäger-Flak-Regiment "Hermann Göring" from 1943 until 1945. He served in Afrika, Italy and East Prussia. Untouched and available for the first time.

Obergefreiter Singer was awarded the Iron Cross 2nd Class, the Afrika cuffband, The German-Italian Campaign Medal, the Wound Badge in black and the Drivers Badge in gold.
All certificates are still there apart from the one to the Drivers Badge. It was awarded in November 1944 and was probably lost.

- Certificate to the German-Italian Campaign Medal. Nice condition. Signed by the commander. Folded twice. Awarded in Afrika on 5.3.1943.
- Certificate to the Iron Cross 2nd Class. Nice large size example. Awarded on 9.12.42 and signed by division commander. Flak-Rgt.43 was fighting at the "Marsa-Linie" or "Buerat-Linie" at that time. Folded twice. Very nice condition.
- Certificate to the Afrika cuffband. 1.5.1943. Folded once. Condition 2-.
- Certificate to the Wound Badge in black. Injured on 6.4.1943 in Afrika. Dated: "Afrika, den 16.4.1943". Sign by commander of I./Flak-Regiment 43.

Wehrpaß with original photo in good condition. Nice 1941-1945 unit entries. A list with his battles from 1941 - late 1944.
Soldbuch with original photo. All pages complete but some are loose including the cover. A 1941 issued Soldbuch which he carried all years of war. Nice "Tropendienstfähig" entry as well as a nice "7./Fallschirm-Flakregiment Hermann Göring" stamp. Many entries including of all awards.

All was found inside his brown Wehrpaß cover including a long Iron Cross ribbon. A very fine grouping!
