Description
Document grouping to Leutnant Erler who served in Norway with 63.Vorposten-Flotille.

Personal "Wehrstammbuch" containing all possible details on his service time you can think of. It includes a list of his units: One of them is 63.Vorposten-Flottille where he served from March 1944 until 7.5.1944. His unit original was transformed out of "Hafenschutzflottille Narvik" and served in Norway. Page 19 shows a long list of his campaigns and battles. He kept on serving until July 1945 clearing mines for the English. Page 42 shows all promotion and page 44 all awards which are: Iron Cross 2nd Class, Minesweeper War Badge, Iron Cross 1st Class, German Cross in gold (in our opinion a postwar entry).

A fine "Tromsö, 20.12.1944" issued certificate to the Iron Cross 1st Class. Facsimile signed. "Admiral der norwegischen Polarküste" stamped. Folded twice.
It comes with a rare "Vorschlag zum Eisernen Kreuz 1. Klasse" telling you example what he did to be awarded the EK1.

A "U-Bootsabwehrlehrgang" document as well an an interesting 63. Vorposten-Flottille related inventory list.
Other period time as well as postwar (POV) document.

Three single "Leutnant zur See" shoulder boards. One for the summer tunic.Original dog tag "Gerhard Erler, O.40 / 41KS on original lanyard.
