Description
Important document grouping to Spanish Cross in gold recipient Hauptmann Rüdiger Thiemann. Thiemann was shot down on 22.3.1942 behind Russian lines and was reporter missed in action. His commander wrote to his father that he would have definitely fought until the end and reported him killed in action.
 
Certificate to the Iron Cross 2nd Class. October 1939. Nicely hand filled out with large writing. Certificate to the Iron Cross 1st Class. August 1941. 4./Kampfgeschwader 4. Certificate to the Squadron Clasp for Kampfflieger in bronze. K.G.4. Signed by the Geschwaderkommodore. Certificate to the Squadron Clasp for Kampfflieger in silver. K.G.4. Signed by the Geschwaderkommodore.
Two color Spanish award documents (cut small in size): La Cruz de Guerra and La Medalla de la Campana.
Nice large size certificate to the Luftwaffe Observer Badge. Original ink signature of Ritter von Greim.
Large size certificate to the Spanish Cross in gold with swords. 6.6.1939 dated. Not folded. 2 holes. Slight cut: 23,5cm + 32,5cm.
 
Certificate to the Luftwaffe 4 years Long Service Award serving with KG "General Wever" 253. Certificate to the Austria Medal.
A letter confirming the award of the Bulgarian Bravery Cross IV Class which was sent with the actual cross to his father. 
Sports Badge booklet with period time applied photo in Heer uniform. Several ID cards with uniform pictures of his time with Panzer-Abteilung Abteilung 16.
 
Two large size promotion documents in one folder. One slightly cut. Both with facsimile signatures of Göring. 
 
Original letter sent from Oberstleutnant Dr. Wolff to his father explaining his death. He was shot down by a Russian Flak. He describes him as one of his best officers which was privileged for Generalstab service. He had 81 missions and was proposed to be award the Honor Globe as he says.
 
Many Kriegsschule Dresden documents. A list of missions of II./KG4.

Various period time military documents and papers which provide additional room for research. 18 nice photographs. Some show him with medals, cuffband and his Borddolch.
