Description
Rare RMBO (Reich Ministry for the Occupied Eastern Territories) Officials second pattern tunic issued from around August 1942 to German Officials assigned to the Occupied Eastern Territories. These tunics were made from orange-brown wool with a dark brown collar.

Simple in design, their sole purpose was to distinguish the wearer as an RMBO official and as such they had no shoulder straps. It is uncertain whether these tunics are unissued and therefore have no collar rank insignia or whether they were worn in this way. Photographs exist of officials taken in Kiev in 1942 wearing tunics without any insignia, but also without the dark brown collars.

The gilt piping is thought to signify a higher rank level. A RMBO style national eagle was found inside one breast pocket. All silver buttons on the tunic have the national emblem over oak leaves.
Fine brown silk lining. The interior has an opening for the wearing of a dagger including its catch.

Rare. Size M. Condition 1. Minor signs of use to the button holes.
