Scarce SS-Verfügungstruppe tunic for an SS-Obersturmführer. A very very rare example with period time attached insignia.
Typical SS-VT cut with open collar. Fine officer's tabs with hand-stiched SS runes. Both were attached by hand. Quite sloppy but definitely period time. The same with the black backed boards. Fine hand-embroidered officer's sleeve eagle attached by hand to the left sleeve. Dust and patina around the stitches. Perfectly matching patina. Quite accurately attached. The sleeve badge was attached the same way however the the seam has opened quite a bit.
RZM M5/8 EXTRA FEIN buttons by Assmann. There rear buttons are RZM M5/8 marked, too.
Silk lining. Well worn. Many signs of use as well as open seams. No tailors or name tag attached.
Four loops for a long medal or ribbon bar (distance: 7,5cm) as well as two loops for a small badge. Maybe a Golden NSDAP Badge.
Moth damage to the tunic. Damage to the left sleeve. Condition 3.
