Heer M41 tropical field tunic worn by a member of Sonderverband 288. Original attached insignia.
Size stamps and a unreadable maker's stamp. Buttons attached with rings. Machine-attached collar tabs, breast eagle attached by hand. No shoulder boards. A black Panzer Obergefreiter rank chevron attached with the same grass green thread as the machine-woven badge "Sonderverband 288". In my opinion both were attached period time.
No signs of wear. A tunic which must have stay at home and only used for holiday.
