Description
Important uniform grouping to Generalstabsintendant Karl Küthe. Küthe served at the Oberkommando des Heeres and commanded "Führer-Reserve OKH" in 1944 before he retired on 31.12.1944.

Küthe was born on 27.6.1880 and died on 30.3.1952. More information on his service time available.

The grouping contains his visor cap, his parade tunic and his matching straight trousers.

Extremely rare General's parade tunic with original applied insignia. A high quality tailor's work of Averbeck & Bröskamp, Berlin. A tailor's label attached to the inside liner. Inside the inner pocket is another label with Küthe's name and the date he received the tunic: "Herrn K.Kuthe 1939". Küthe was promoted a Generalstabsintendant on 1.4.1937.

All buttons are period time attached "ASSMANN EXTRA FEIN" ones. All attached with the same thread.
His insignia are of amazing quality and extremely hard to come by. Normal army General's insignia would be a lot more easier to find. To have these insignia original attached on a named tunic is very very rare.  Breast eagle, shoulder boards sleeve tabs and collar tabs original attached by hand.

Correct green horizontal piping for civil servant's. Stunning patina.
Silk lining in very nice condition.

Period time attached loops for a long ribbon bar (7cm from first to last loop) and two pair of loops for badges.

We have found one small moth hole underneath the armpit.
Apart from that, excellent condition.
The tunic fits on our size M bust.

High quality privately tailored straight General's trousers. Red piping. Cotton lining.
Very good condition. Only 3-4 small moth holes to the reverse of one leg. No name or tailor's tag.
Waist: 98cm. Length: 107cm.

Fine quality EREL visor cap. An extremely rare civil servant's type for Generals two gold and green cords! Matching gold General's chin strap. Gilt eagle and wreath. Matching patina. Slightly faded finish of the insignia.

Golden silk lining. Signs of wear. Celluloid diamond with EREL maker's mark (nearly worn off). Small cracks.
"EREL Patent Stirnschutz" marked to the sweat-band.

No moth holes. Nice condition 2.
Size 56.
