Large certificate to the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross in presentation folder to Leutnant Karl Helmer. Helmer was awarded the Knight's Cross serving as Ordonanzoffizier with Stab of II./Gebirgsjäger-Regiment 13 on 4.11.1942. He died after as serious injury on 6.3.1945 near Dorow (Kreis Regenwald, Pommern) serving as Kopanie leader of 12./Jäger-Regiment 56.
Part of the grouping a modern photographs of the area he was buried as well as document providing additional information on his service time and explaining how we has qualified for the Knight's Cross during 7 hour of close combat.
