Personal documents of Hasso von Manteuffel and his son Gert von Manteuffel, born in 1927.
Original 1911 issued certificate of birth to Hasso von Manteuffel which he needed to for his wedding. Hasso von Manteuffels name is mentioned as "Eccard August Gert Erdmann von Manteuffel". He served as a Pionier-Leutnant at that time.
Furthermore two original death noticed from 1978 and photos showing him.
Most of the grouping belonged to his son Gerd. There are roughly 50 original letters he sent from 1944 until 1947 to his family as a prisoner of war. The letters are already translated into English language.
