Description
Stripped Waffen-SS field tunic. A "3-hole" M41 tunic which was definitely used by a Waffen-SS Rottenführer. There are no traces of a previously attached breast eagle. The shadow of the missing collar tabs proof that there were SS tabs attached which are of a different size than army tabs. The left sleeve still comes with the period time attached machine-embroidered sleeve eagle (early style, hand-attached) and a machine-attached sleeve chevron.

The tunic comes with ribbons for the Iron Cross and the East Medal. Both seem to be of matching patina and condition and look period time attached to me. There are no loops for awards to the breast pocket.

Silk lining. Maker marked. Typical SS stamps. "52".
All buttons attached with the same thread.

A very rare salty "been there" tunic!

Moth damage! Condition 3.
Size M.
