His units are listed on page 23. Awards: 1939 Iron Cross 2nd Class, Minesweeper War Badge and Romanian anti-Communism Medal. A nice entry on page 12: "Eine Armbanduhr als ziviles Eigentum gegen Bezahlung Nr. 301701 - A watch as a civilian property against payment No. 301701". Maybe he bought his service watch from the Navy. "No. 4371" written by hand to the front cover. Complete with all 40 pages. Slight water stains to the top and signs of use.
