Description
Medal grouping to SS-Obersturmführer Hubbes who was awarded the Close Combat Clasp in silver. He served with 4. and 5. Aufklärungs-Abteilung Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler and with 12./SS-Panzer-Division "Hitlerjugend" during the Normandy battles (D-Day). Hubbes ended up serving with 8./SS-Panzergrenadier-Regiment 25 ("Hitlerjugend") in late 1944 and was part of the battles of the Ardennes. He survived the war.

1939 Iron Cross 1st Class in case of issue. A rare example marked "L59". Furthermore marked with a "S-Symbol" (typical for Rettenmaier maker). Nice condition. LDO case of issue. Good condition but slight damage to the paper hinge.
 
Very nice Infantry Assault Badge in bronze. Unmarked. Full bronze finish. 
 
1939 Iron Cross 2nd Class in very nice condition. Unmarked. Long piece of ribbon.
 
East Medal with ribbon. 60 maker marked.
 
Ribbon bar, Wound Badge in silver as well as other personal items. In a very old wooden box.
Three visor cap chin straps. One damaged.
