Description
Waffen-SS, EM-pattern, M36-model field-tunic ('Feldbluse 36') having a rare eagle for the: 'Panzerbarett' period-attached. The tunic - which is executed in regular, field-grey-coloured type wool - comes in a clearly used and/or worn, condition: it does show clear age and staining (and shows some minimal moth-damage and repairs). The tunic has a greyish-coloured, linnen-type lining and bears a clearly present maker-mark (ie. ink-stamp) that reads: 'Ankenbrand & Klau - Uniformen'.

The tunic retains all its (firmly-attached) buttons and shows the 'pointed-styled' and 'pleaded' front-pockets and darker-green collar (clearly signifying that it deals with a 'M36'-pattern tunic). The piece shows 3-holes (for belt-hook attachment) and has lost some of its woolen 'nap': the tunic has, as stated above, clearly been used. The tunic is medium-sized and has a waist of approximately 86 cms.

It came with a (matching) pair of bright-pink-piped ('silk-like'-type) 'SS-Panzer'-related EM-pattern shoulder-straps, 'RzM'-type collar-tab pair (of which the 'rune'-tab shows some fraying) and a (rarely seen!) 'RzM'-type so-called: 'Panzerbarett'-eagle (which is not often seen being used as an arm-eagle). Next to this, does the tunic show a rank-chevron ('Rottenfüher-Armwinkel'). All insignia-pieces seem to have been period-attached (by means of a machine and by hand). Moreover, does the tunic show various 'award-loops' and mounted 'EKII'-ribbon and comes with 4 (aluminium-based) belt-hooks included. Simply a complete M36-tunic that came as such from a private household and that started its life as a Wehrmacht Heer tunic but was clearly worn by a 'SS-Rottenführer' who served within an 'SS-Panzerjäger o. Panzer-Abwehr'-unit!
