Waffen-SS M43 field-cap as produced in roughly textured (ie. later-war-) type wool also known as 'drap Orti' or Italian wool. The cap has a standard-pattern, greyish-silver coloured lining but is void of any marking nor stamp. The cap has two pebbled- and field-grey coloured buttons attached and shows a trapezoid-shaped eagle-/skull patch off-factory attached by means of machine-stitching. The cap shows moderate wear and/or age and is of a fair size (about 55/56).
