Waffen-SS, tailor-made, camouflaged field-tunic, constructed from camouflaged linnen (of the: 'Plane Tree no. 5' camouflaged-pattern). The tunic presumably originates from a field tailor-shop ('Feldschneiderei') and was made on request (by using parts of a 'Zeltbahn' or even camouflaged pullover smock ('Tarnjacke'). The piece shows 4 (green-coloured and US-pattern!) buttons and has three (front)pockets attached: these latter show (non-closable) pocket-flaps (of which one is coming a bit loose). The tunic is of a medium-size and has a waist that measures approximately 106 cms. The tunic has clearly been used and does show some wear (and small holes) on its collar. The upper right-arm shows some re-stitching.
