Description
Third Reich period time swimming competition plaque given by the Ortsgruppe Darmstadt. A stunning example made from white plastic and wood. The front shows a large NSRL emblem with swastika. It is made from plastic. The reverse is engraved: ERSTE GROßDEUTSCHE SCHWIMM-MEISTERSCHAFT DARMSTADT“. The swimming competition took part in Darmstadt in July 1938.

The light weight plaque comes in the matching case of issue in great condition. Red inlay. Silk liner which comes the NSRL embleme and ORTSGRUPPE Darmstadt. A custom made case ordered by Ortsgruppe Darmstadt together with this plaque to give to the participates.

Very rare and never seen before!

Djameter of the plaque: 7cm. Size of the case: 9,5cm + 9,5cm.

This plaque was part of a large and important grouping to the Third Reich swimmer Hermann Heibel. Heibel was extremely successful. You will find a lot of information about him. His grouping came out of a household clearance and was never available on the market before.
