Untouched WWI period time M18 cavalry helmet which was re-issued by the Wehrmacht in 1935. It received a new paint, two decals, new liner, chin strap and rivets. This was a typical procedure however, to find an M18 cavalry helmet re-issued is really rare.
You can see the original WWI period time paint underneath the structured Wehrmacht paint. The paint looks fragile but it is absolutely firm. The eagle decal is about 80%, the national decal about 50%.
The lining and chin strap are still soft.
It is "Rambo" named which was most probably added postwar.
