Description
Untouched Waffen-SS M42 field tunic which came off a building which was used as a military hospital during the war. The hospital was in Lille, France.
The soldier apparently was wounded by a small splinter shell. They uniform shows rip and large blood stains.

The tunic was worn with a period time dark green collar. This was modified for "fashion" reason. You can see that the SS tabs were ripped off! The sleeve eagle was also removed. The SS-Sturmmann rank sleeve chevron however is still original attached. Shoulder boards missing.

Typical silk lining. "SS-BW" and size stamped.
One rip to one sleeve and a few period time repairs and small holes from extensive wear.

Two original attached loops for one award to the left breast pocket.

A few small moth bites to the collar only.
A well worn "been there" tunic. Extremely rare.
