Heer Turkistan volunteer's sleeve badge
Description
This is a Heer volunteer-armshield (ie. 'Ärmelabzeichen') as executed in the 'BeVo-weave-pattern as was intended for a volunteer who served within the: 'Deutsche Wehrmacht' ie. within the: 'Turkistanisches Legion'.
The armshield - which is of the rarely encountered first pattern! - shows a mosq-symbol with above the Arabic text: 'Biz Alla Bilen' and is neatly woven in the so-called: 'BeVo'-weave technique: it comes in a virtually mint- ie. unissued condition as recently found.
It should be noted that these armshields are copied on a large scale: this is naturally a 100% genuine example that is impossible to be upgraded!
