Untouched "been there" Waffen-SS officer's sidecap. A textbook "no questions asked" original example with removed insignia.
Clearly worn and with a lot of patina, this example comes in good condition and great shape. Clear signs of wear to sweat-band and lining. Even the officer's chin strap with patina and signs of wear. Chin strap buttons attached with prongs. White piping clearly dirty. You can see a bright white color to the areas which are covered (sides, rear).
Silk lining with damaged celluloid diamond. Black velvet (officer type) band. Clear signs of its former skull badge and cap eagle.
